It happens time and time again. You are spoken about and then you get the phone call or email and yot are asked why are people talking about you? Well the answer is simple, because they are worried about me and not about themselves. The rumor mill can turn round and round and all it creates is more calls and ironically more of a popularity. Inherently people know that rumors created are done by the haters and the competition born out of jealousy and the desire to be the better than the leader. In business, when you are the leader or number 1, the companies who want to be better sometimes sink into the business of producing misleading stories. Meanwhile they unknowingly just created a new path forward. They just created the chance for you to say, "Well I do not speak of other companies, I only speak of how we can help our clients." This is true in all walks of life. How can anyone worry about their own clients or themselves when they are worried about you or your business? The rumor and/ or false story just turned into positive outcomes.
